Heather Granada is the owner of Homerun Nannies. From a young age, she was often trusted to provide her babysitting services for families around her neighborhood. After graduating high school, she began studying for her Associate of Science Degree in criminal justice while landing her first professional nanny position. She was often questioned as to why she wasn't pursuing a career that involved working with children. After achieving her AS in criminal justice, she transferred to California State University, Bakersfield where she had a sudden epiphany that she needed to be working with children. Three years later, while continuing to be a nanny for families, she achieved her Bachelor's of Arts Degree in child, adolescent, and family studies with a minor in psychology. After being a nanny for families for over ten years, she had a desire to do something bigger. She is passionate about reaching more families with her energetic and creative mindset. She started Homerun Nannies with the determination to find like-minded nannies who value active lifestyles, healthy eating habits, building good character, teaching responsibilities, and instilling good morals. She is enthusiastic about creating an environment where both nannies and families can feel encouraged, supported, and safe.
